ROADWORK SIGNS REFERENCING GAS TAX BILL ANGER OPPONENTS OF LAW

New roadwork signs referencing the controversial gas tax bill SB1 are making opponents of the law angry. The new signs going up across the state point out that road projects are being funded by SB1. The legislative director of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association says the signs constitute “blatant electioneering” and an “inappropriate use of taxpayer dollars.” Voters can repeal the tax in November by voting Yes on Proposition Six.
